Importing a Support File (Desktop)

What it is: The process of importing a corrected client file sent back by the Draftworx support team after they have investigated and resolved your issue.

What it's for

After you export a support request and the Draftworx team finishes working on it, they email you a compressed support file. You import this file back into your client file to apply the corrections and resume normal work.

How to do it

Before You Start

  • Save the compressed support file attachment from the email to a known location on your computer.
  • Do not extract or unzip the file — it must be imported as a compressed file.

Import

  1. On the Client List screen, open the relevant client file.
  2. Click the Draftworx icon and select Import Support.
  3. Browse to the saved compressed support file and select it.
  4. The file is imported and you can continue working on the client file as normal.
